A typical power plant size provides 50MW continuous  operation thus approaching 8000 hours of services generating almost 400’000 MWh per year. This would actually cover several sq/km of land and requires approximately 1.3 km2 of mirrors.

For this reason, such technology is obviously applicable only in arid, low population density areas.

The plant is designed to operate with an air cooling system and an outside temperature of 40 °C (very conservative environmental data). With typical desert data plant efficiency may  be increased providing considerable financial benefits.
